Maize thresher refers to a mechanical device for threshing corn ears. The corn thresher has the characteristics of high automation, strong safety, easy operation, and low energy consumption.
Maize thresher is mainly composed of a drum, concave plate, sieve, fan, feeding hopper, grain slide, screw guide rod, and so on. It adopts an axial-flow threshing device that feeds the cob at the end of the shaft tangentially. Its technological process: the corn ear enters the drum through the feeding hopper, and is threshed under the impact of the high-speed rotating drum and the interaction of the corn ear, the drum, and the concave plate.
Most of the grains and small impurities removed by the Maize thresher pass through the concave plate holes and are cleaned by the fan. The light impurities are blown out from the outlet, and the grains are slid out of the machine by the grain sliding plate. The cob moves backward along the axis of the drum and is discharged out of the machine from the outlet at the end of the shaft through the surface of the vibrating screen.
